After the holidays, there is only one desire: to detoxify. To start this new year, here are 10 simple and light desserts to enjoy with every meal.
The log enchanted us, the chocolates made us melt and the multitude of meals over the last few weeks closed the year in style. From now on, we take a breather and prepare ourselves some nice, light desserts, without any hassle, to take us into winter and give us a boost.
Light and fruity desserts for a healthy recovery
For the return of January, we opt for light desserts. Egg cream or upside down with clementines, pear compote and fruity salad, so many recipes that are airy and above all: full of vitamins. With the drop in temperatures, seasonal fruits are the first allies to give us energy and improve our immune defenses. Citrus fruits, pears and exotic fruits are essential, so let’s not deprive ourselves of them.
Citrus fruits: a mine of vitamin C
Orange, clementine, grapefruit or pineapple contain on average 44 mg of vitamin C per 100 g*. An intake which allows them alone to meet almost 50% of the recommended daily reference intake of vitamin C (110 mg per day for an adult).
Why choose foods rich in vitamin C? For their proven virtues on the body’s defenses: strengthening the immune system, fighting stress and reducing fatigue. In short, the solution to all problems for this winter return to school.
Here are 10 desserts that will get you off to a great start to the year.
