Pan-fried vanilla apples with speculoos
Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 10 g butter
- 4 speculoos
- 1 pod vanilla
- 1 c. tbsp sugar semolina
Instructions
-
Peel the apples then cut them into quarters to remove the seeds. Cut them into strips.
-
In a large frying pan, heat the butter to brown the apples. Sprinkle with sugar. Stir regularly so that the apples are evenly browned. Allow around 10 minutes of cooking so that the fruit remains slightly al dente.
-
Open the vanilla pod in half lengthwise then scrape the inside using a knife to recover the seeds. Flavor the apples with the vanilla seeds.
-
In a bowl or mortar, crush the biscuits.
-
Serve the apples in glasses or on a plate and sprinkle with speculoos powder. Serve hot or warm.
