Ingredients
- 2 cod fillets
- 500 g fresh green beans
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 bunch of fresh herbs (chives, chervil, thyme, etc.)
- 60g butter
- 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
- 1 bay leaf
-
the juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
-
Hull the green beans. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them into strips. Chop the herbs.
-
Cook the green beans for 15 minutes in a large pot of boiling salted water. Then rinse them under cold water.
-
In a pan, melt half the butter with the garlic. Add the beans and sauté them for 5 minutes. Deglaze with soy sauce.
-
In a second pan, melt the remaining butter with the bay leaf. Brown the cod fillets for 2 minutes on each side. Salt, pepper. Add the herbs and lemon juice; extend the cooking for 3 minutes depending on the thickness of the backs, basting them regularly with the juices from the pan.
-
Serve the pan-fried backs with the garlicky green beans.
