Sandwiches, wraps, paninis, grilled cheese… They are as easy to prepare as they are to transport, for the greatest pleasure of our walks in the sun.
Between two slices of bread, we spread, assemble and layer our favorite foods, through 100% spring combinations.
What ingredients for my spring sandwich?
It's finally spring: the season of fruits and vegetables by the thousands (we're exaggerating so little!) It's the return of sunny days but also, colorful vegetables which embellish our little plates. Asparagus, radishes, salads, carrots, spinach, onions… It’s up to you to choose. To protect the environment, but also benefit from their nutritional benefits, we always opt for seasonal foods which are more in line with the needs of our body (and the planet).
In addition to the vegetables, we spread our favorite sauce on each slice of bread: mayonnaise, mustard, pesto… Without forgetting cheese, more and more cheese! Goat cheese, mozzarella, cheddar, ricotta, edam or emmental, anything goes. For a complete and satisfying sandwich, don't forget to include a source of protein: hard-boiled eggs, chicken, pork, ham, beef, tuna, mushrooms or tofu… Here again, the possibilities are multiple. As with cheeses and vegetables, nothing prevents you from combining several types of meat at the same time. And if you're lacking inspiration, here are 10 spring sandwich recipes that will make your mouth water!
