March, the month of spring, brings renewal to the menu.

If the date of calendar (or astronomical) spring, March 20, 2023, corresponds to the spring equinox, the moment when the sun is precisely vertical to the equator, in meteorology, spring extends from March 1 to May 31st. And at the basket level too, the change is starting to be felt! If the squashes are at the end of their run but still available, leeks, cauliflowers, carrots are still there. Early vegetables, digestible with their tender fibers, easy to prepare, sources of vitamins and antioxidants, bring a breath of freshness to our plate. The opportunity to include spring onions or artichokes on the menu, among others.

On the fruit side, oranges once again bring us a lot of vitamin C this month, like lemon or kiwi. Ideal for resisting small seasonal ailments.
