Labne

Ingredients

For 1 large bowl

  • 500 g of yogurt (goat or sheep), or fresh white cheese or faisselle
  • Zaatar (or fresh thyme + chopped savory)

  • olive oil

Preparation

  1. Place a colander on a bowl and cover it with a clean cloth.

  2. Pour the yogurt over the cloth and close the linen. Leave to switch to a minimum for 5 hours in a cool place.

  3. Place it, once drained, in a container, add a drizzle of olive oil, then mix with a spatula.

  4. Sprinkle with Zaatar and serve with mugs, crackers or pita bread.
