Marbled cake with pink pralines

Ingredients

  • 130 g of sugar
  • 120 g soft butter + a little for the mold
  • 4 eggs
  • 180 g flour + a little for the mold
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 100 g of pink pralines

Preparation

  1. Butter and flour a cake mold, set aside in a cool place. Preheat the oven to 165°C (th. 5-6).

  2. In a salad bowl, mix 100 g of sugar with 100 g of soft butter. Add 3 eggs one by one, mixing constantly. Finish with 150 g of sifted flour and baking powder. Reserve.

  3. Reduce the pralines to powder with 30 g of flour. Mix with 20 g of soft butter, 1 egg and 30 g of sugar.

  4. Pour the two batters into the mold. Create swirls by stirring with chopsticks to achieve the marbling. Bake for 35 minutes – the blade of a knife inserted into the marble should come out dry.
