Menu of the week: recipe ideas from Monday 11 to Sunday 17 November

Glory to seasonal products with this week’s recipes.

Pumpkins, mushrooms, broccoli, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, autumn vegetables are in the spotlight on the plate in velouté versions, tarts, stews, etc. As for desserts, citrus fruits are back in the spotlight, accompanied by divine apples, which are always popular in autumn.

My shopping list for the week

At the primeurwe stock up on pumpkin, oyster mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, button mushrooms, sweet potatoes, white and red onions, celery, fennel, spinach, broccoli, leek, avocado, garlic and shallots.

Complete with mint, coriander, basil, chervil, chives, parsley, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaf, for aromatic herbs.

Along the way, we take fresh ginger, which we add with curry and green anise for the spices.

Side fruitswe take apples, lemons, pineapples and clementines.

Smoked bacon, ham, chicken breast, ground beef, as well as chicken thighs, are necessary for the meat.

Only cod fillet can be taken from the aisle fish.

For the dairy productsthe list is long between thick and liquid crème fraîche, fromage blanc, gorgonzola, parmesan, semi-salted butter, emmental and whole milk.

Regarding the oilseeds, grains and seedswe take them in different forms: almond milk and puree, coconut milk, oat milk, hazelnut oil, olive oil and pumpkin seeds. We continue next grocery store with shells, tomato paste, vegetable broth, breadcrumbs and whole-grain mustard.

For cakes more than perfect, we check our stocks and buy if necessary flour, sugar, fine semolina, baker’s and chemical yeast, forest honey, orange blossom water and dark chocolate.

We finish by having eggs, red wine, rum and farm cider.
