Our weekly menu is in tune with fall flavors.

Autumn is gradually settling into our plates and bringing with it delicious seasonal products. This week, we are honoring the fruits and vegetables of October: mushrooms, squash, figs, grapes, apples and pears come in all forms and bring us the comfort and delicacy that the season demands. Rich in flavors and vitamins, they are popular in autumn soups, stews and sweet treats.

My shopping list for the week

This week, at the primeurwe slip into our basket sweet potatoes, spinach, spring onions, porcini mushrooms, button mushrooms, kale, watercress, arugula, potatoes, leeks, squash, carrots, celery, butternut squash, red beets, fennel, shallots , garlic and onions. As for fruits, you will need figs, apples, black and white grapes, plums, oranges, pears, yellow and green lemons. We especially don’t forget the fresh herbs: parsley, coriander, chives, mint, thyme, rosemary, and coriander.

Little detour to the butcher to have chorizo, serrano ham, smoked brisket and duck breast. At the fishmongertake some red mullet fillets.
