A stone’s throw from the Louvre, Sugo Osteria opens a new chapter in the history of Sugo. After Saint-Augustin and Château-d’Eau, Arthur Dumait is setting up his third address at 123 rue Saint-Honoré, with a more extensive menu where fresh homemade pasta rubs shoulders with arancini, vitello tonnato, cotoletta alla milanese and osso buco.

The spirit does not change: good products, generous Italian recipes and hospitality that makes you want to come back. With, on sunny days, a terrace to enjoy the address in the heart of Paris.

Founded in 2023 by Arthur Dumait, Sugo was born from a very simple obsession: finding in Paris the fresh pasta that he loved to eat in Italy, prepared with beautiful products and offered at an affordable price. Having passed through the Lausanne Hotel School, London palaces and then Rome, the founder has since built his addresses around this idea of Italian cuisine without complications, but never without demands.

Here, the pasta is prepared on site using Molino Agostini organic durum wheat semolina. Without eggs, they gain texture and offer that lovely al dente character which naturally calls for a generous sauce. The sauces are made on the spot.

And this is precisely where Sugo finds its taste: in a cuisine that does not seek to do too much, but which chooses each ingredient with care.

Vongole

Antonella tomatoes from Sardinia, Pecorino Romano PDO aged for 18 months, guanciale from Salumi Pernigotti, mozzarella from Bufala Nanina, artichokes from Puglia, Borniambuc butter or even meats from Maison Le Bourdonnec: the selection is as precise as it is generous.

On the plate, this requirement translates into immediately desirable classics. The pasta gives pride of place to Pesce Spada, Aglio e Olio, Vongole and Pasta con Polpette.

For those who like to start with a few bites to share, the new menu widens the playing field even further with arancini and vitello tonnato, before continuing with a cotoletta alla milanese or an osso buco.

Sugo Osteria fresh pasta Paris

At Sugo, it’s not just the plate that takes you on a journey. The addresses of the house cultivate a warm decor, with pasta-colored bricks, wooden and stainless steel furniture, large tables, open kitchen, soft lighting and candles. The music also contributes to this relaxed atmosphere, designed to make you want to stay.

Rue Saint-Honoré, this identity takes on the air of a contemporary osteria. More than just a pasta canteen, Sugo Osteria is expanding its repertoire while retaining the Italian conviviality that gives it its charm: generous cuisine, attentive service and a table where you can have a quick lunch or linger over several plates.

Sugo desserts

Dessert deserves its place in the trip. We find the great Sugo essentials: tiramisu, torta caprese and panna cotta with orange blossom and Bronte pistachio. To end on a fresher note, Enzo & Lily ice creams and sorbets complete the offering.

With this third address, Sugo is moving from a pasta canteen to a contemporary osteria, without losing what has made it successful: fresh pasta prepared on site, readable and generous Italian recipes, careful sourcing and real attention to hospitality.

And the place has a little additional advantage: its summer terrace, located a few steps from the Louvre. A good reason to come for lunch, extend an aperitif or treat yourself to an Italian dinner in the heart of Paris.
