Easy-to-serve dishes
In autumn, we are served fruits and vegetables to insert into our pies, quiches or pizzas. For a large table, plan dishes to share but above all easy to prepare in order to make the most of your guests. In autumn, it’s hard not to think about cooking mushrooms. In addition to being good, they cook very quickly. Then sprinkle your pizzas with mushrooms, slip them into your pies or place them in a flamiche preparation. Little tip: sprinkle your dishes with autumn spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger or turmeric. If you don’t want to cook mushrooms, opt for a tarte flambée with oyster mushrooms and gorgonzola or the squash and ricotta frittata, perfect for sharing in large numbers. Preparations cooked in an oven mold such as pies, pizzas, focaccias or egg-based dishes cooked in a pan like a tortilla, are easy to prepare, cut and serve for a large table.
A family and friendly meal that has everything good
When we entertain people, we want to both delight our guests while enjoying their presence. For this, family meals are the right compromise. A delicious pulled pork and butternut squash shepherd’s pie can delight a whole table. You can prepare it a few hours before and reheat it in the oven when the guests have arrived. All you have to do is put it down. A family dish is above all a comforting dish. We offer you a recipe for a milk-fed lamb and butternut squash tagine from chef Hélène Darroze. We place the tagine in the center of the table and for the more daring, we either go with our hands or serve ourselves on our plates. The tagine dish will serve the whole table and promises conviviality and deliciousness.
