From starter to dessert, the Easter meal promises to be more delicious than ever. Tips and recipes.
How to make an Easter meal?
If Christmas has its log, Easter has its lamb! Indeed, festivals and traditions are intrinsically linked to essential flavors or recipes, which we strongly advise against skipping. For your Easter meal, we therefore think of eggs as starters which are available in mimosa, soft-boiled, poached, casserole, marinated versions, and are a strong emblem of the Easter celebrations. Obviously followed by the essential lamb, which can be offered in a stuffed, roasted, simmered, sweet and sour, or even spring version. Concerning lamb, the choice of the cut of meat is also essential – leg, shoulder, rack – because this will have an impact on the preparation, cooking, and the budget.
And because Easter is celebrated in the heart of spring, it would be a shame not to combine its meat with pretty early vegetables, perfectly in season, such as asparagus, spring chanterelles, radishes, etc.
What dessert for your Easter meal?
When it comes to Easter dessert, several choices are available to us. We can stay with the Easter theme by offering a cake in the shape of a bell, a nest, or even an egg. Opt for a richly chocolatey dessert that will delight both young and old gourmands. Or even prefer a dessert with spring flavors of strawberry and rhubarb.
Gluttony, sharing, and generosity are the quintessence of a successful Easter meal.
