With a few more good years ahead of it, Le Pouvoir des Fleurs 2022 is a pretty Organic Fronton produced by the Lionel Osmin & Cie trading house. A red wine full of elegance and delicacy.
Predominantly Négrette (85%), supplemented by Syrah (15%), Le Pouvoir des Fleurs 2022 is a red wine that lives up to its name! This typical South-West grape variety brings delicate floral aromas to the wine. An explosion of violets and peonies for a captivating bouquet that announces the deliciousness and elegance found on the palate. This pretty red wine, very aromatic and well balanced, ready to enjoy and which can still wait in your cellar until 2029 or 2030.
For this wine, the Négrettes are harvested first, followed closely by the Syrah. Vinification is done in the traditional way with alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures then aging in large containers, “Italian style” to reveal the full aromatic palette of the grape varieties.
Deep red with mahogany nuances, this cuvée opens with flowers and small black fruits, then spices take over. Round and fleshy, the palate offers the same aromatic palette, with a beautiful volume and very present but silky tannins. The finish is long and finely peppery.
Served around 16°C, it is an easy wine to pair with beautiful French cuisine such as duck breast with orange and spices, squab roasted with garlic and thyme, filet mignon in a crust, osso buco, small duck hearts with parsley, red tuna confit in olive oil, suckling lamb… Also try it with slightly more exotic dishes such as tataki sesame tuna or an apple and black pudding pastilla.
