Ingredients
- 200g flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) of baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 150 g caster sugar
- 10 cl of whole milk
- 10 cl of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon(s) of green anise seeds
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter and flour a cake mold.

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a salad bowl.

Beat the eggs with the sugar, milk and extra-virgin olive oil in another bowl.

Gradually whisk the liquid ingredients into the dry mixture, taking care not to form lumps. Add the green anise seeds.

Pour the batter into the cake mold.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Leave the cake to cool in the mold for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
