Ingredients
- 500 g small potatoes (new potatoes or rattes)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 tablespoon(s) minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 100 g grated cheddar
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
-
salt, pepper
Preparation
-
Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Rinse 500g small potatoes (new potatoes or rattes), plunge them into the boiling water for 15 min, until tender. Drain them and place them on an oiled baking tray. Using the base of a glass or bottle, mash the potatoes, but do not purée them.
-
In a bowl, mix 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tsp paprika, salt and pepper. Brush this mixture on the mashed potatoes and bake for 12 min. They should brown and become crispy.
-
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with 100g of grated cheddar and return to the oven for 2-3 min, until the cheese has melted.
-
Sprinkle with 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives and serve.
