Ingredients
- 500 g pasta (thin spaghetti or macaroni)
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1 fresh green pepper
- 7 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of harissa (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon(s) paprika
- 1 tablespoon(s) ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon(s) ground caraway
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste

Preparation

Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and set aside.

Peel and chop the garlic. Rinse and chop the chilli pepper. Brown the garlic in a pan with the olive oil, add the harissa, chilli pepper and spices. Cook for a few minutes over medium heat.

Add the tomato puree, reduce the heat and cook gently. Add 10 cl of water, salt and pepper, and simmer for about ten minutes over low heat.

Let the sauce thicken and darken. Stir the pasta into the sauce. Make sure each pasta is well coated. Serve with harissa, and season to taste.
