My shopping list for the week
For the recipes of the week, we stock up on vegetables : carrots, spring onion, button mushrooms, potatoes, kale or kale, porcini mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots, celery stalks, endives, sweet potatoes, broccoli, baby spinach, white, red and new onions, shallots , and finally garlic.
We complete with aromatic herbs such as coriander, mint, chervil, parsley, chives, thyme, and rosemary.
To bring just the right amount of sweetness to our recipes, we think of fruits following: apples, chestnuts, lemons, black grapes, and oranges.
On the shelf meatwe choose duck breasts, Toulouse sausages, ground beef, chicken, as well as white ham.
Side dairy productsthe list is long: ricotta, mascarpone, fresh and liquid cream, butter, parmesan, milk, emmental, natural yogurt, camembert, and fresh goat’s cheese.
For the pastries and desserts For those with a sweet tooth, stock up on cornstarch, flour, sugar and vanilla sugar, brown sugar, honey, gelatin, black sesame paste, maple syrup, almond powder, and cinnamon if necessary.
For a gourmet touch, don’t forget to add dried fruitnuts, black sesame and sunflower seeds.
On the shelf grocery storeyou will need coral lentils, lasagna sheets, tomato concentrate and pulp, vegetable broth, chickpeas, tahini, without forgetting olive and sesame oil, mustard, and mayonnaise.
