My shopping list for the week
At the firstfor the vegetablestake zucchini, round and cherry tomatoes, carrots, eggplant, zucchini, peppers, leek and cucumber. In terms of fruitsyou will need lemon, melon, mirabelles, apricots, strawberries, peaches (frozen or fresh), oranges, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and redcurrants.
At thegrocery storebuy chickpea flour, quinoa, eggs, béchamel sauce, Japanese Panko breadcrumbs (available in specialty grocery stores), coconut milk, capers, pickles and pine nuts. In terms ofherbs and spicesit will be thyme, mint, dill, parsley, cumin, paprika, coriander, nutmeg and Espelette pepper. Then, on the side sugarhazelnuts, flaked and toasted almonds, acacia honey, grated coconut and a tonka bean.
At the butchertake a nice piece of beef, ground beef and dried duck breast.
At the fishmongeron his list we note clams, shrimp heads and shells, crab meat, ray and fillet of pollack.
Side dairy productsopt for parmesan, fromage blanc, feta, cream, fresh whole milk, Greek yogurt and burrata.
Finally, a quick detour to the wine merchant to buy bourbon, full-bodied red wine and Malibu.
