Menu of the week: recipe ideas from Monday July 22 to Sunday July 28

This week, we’re adding color to our plates while filling up on vitamins.

In the middle of summer, there’s nothing like light plates and especially good fresh products. For this, we cook summer fruits and vegetables in all sauces: peppers, eggplants, zucchini or cucumbers, for vegetables, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and peaches, for fruits. We therefore rely on summer salads to die for, fresh dishes, or even gourmet fruit desserts, to enjoy all week long.

My shopping list for the week

This week, at the firstwe slip into his basket cucumbers, tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, red, yellow and green peppers, celery, fennel, rocket, carrots, peas, zucchini, eggplants, lettuce, shallots, garlic and onions. Side fruitsyou will need strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, currants, peaches, melons, nectarines and finally, yellow and green lemons. We especially do not forget the fresh herbs : oregano, mint, parsley, chives, chervil, bay leaf, basil and thyme.

A quick detour to the butcher to take chorizo, slices of white ham, dried duck breast, pork belly as well as chicken breasts. At the fishmongeradd some black pollack fillets to your basket. And at the bakertake a sourdough bread and a brioche.

Then, head to thesalty groceries to get spices: cumin, paprika, cinnamon, Espelette pepper. We continue by taking chickpeas, pine nuts, raisins, pistachios, almonds, coffee, pickles, mustard, candied tomatoes, black olives, short pasta and bulgur. Let’s move on to theSweet groceries with chocolate, white and cane sugar, honey, maple syrup, orange blossom, almond powder and a vanilla pod.

We stop at fresh section to take whole milk, unsalted butter, liquid cream, fresh goat’s cheese, parmesan, mozzarella, Greek yogurt, skyr, halloumi and ricotta.

Then make a stop at the world cuisine section to recover sesame paste (tahini).
