Menu of the week: recipe ideas from Monday October 28 to Sunday November 3

A new fall menu that honors seasonal products.

This week again, the charms of autumn invite themselves onto our plates: from gourmet dishes to sweet treats, each day brings its share of flavors.
Between pumpkin, mushrooms, cauliflower and carrots, we stock up on vitamins while apples, pears or oranges give us a good dose of energy and constitute the basis of our autumn desserts. For the bravest, on Thursday, we prepare a special Halloween meal that is as scary as it is tasty!

What menu for the week?

Monday

My shopping list for the week

This week, at the primeurwe slip into our basket cauliflower, kale, pumpkin, beets, avocados, butternut, orange, yellow, purple carrots, potatoes, fennel, young shoots, tomatoes, pumpkin, button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, endive, lamb’s lettuce, radishes, spring onions, shallots, garlic and onions. Also consider taking fresh ginger.
Side fruitsyou will need pears, apples, figs, damson, oranges, lemons and limes. Don’t forget the fresh herbs: bay leaf, thyme, parsley, sage, chives, coriander, chervil, lemongrass and dill.

Little detour to the butcher to take slices of breast, white ham, sausages (knacki type), Toulouse sausages and chicken thighs. Then go to the fishmonger and have some salmon fillets. At the bakeradd hot dog buns and gingerbread to your cart.

Then, head tosalty grocery store to obtain spices: turmeric, nutmeg, chili pepper, cardamom, curry and oregano. We continue by taking hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pine nuts, einkorn, oatmeal, coffee, coconut beans, mustard, packet of tortilla chips, ketchup, mustard, pickles, lentils coral, white miso paste and coconut cream. Let’s move on to thesweet grocery store with dark chocolate, brown sugar, cocoa powder, brown and icing sugar, almond powder, chestnut cream, honey and maple syrup.

Make a stop at fresh department to take mascarpone, burrata, liquid cream, unsalted and semi-salted butter, parmesan, Saint-Marcellin and puff pastry.

Finally go to the wine merchant to have a bottle of red wine.
