Panettone and maple caramel


  • 3 eggs
  • 1 panettone from the day before
  • the day before

  • 1 orange
  • 40 cl of maple syrup
  • 60 cl of milk
  • 40 g of sugar
  • 1 pinch of cardamom spice blend
  • 40g butter
  • 2 clementines


  1. Cut the zest from the orange and sauté it for 10 minutes over low heat in the maple syrup.

  2. Cut 4 nice slices of panettone. Beat the eggs, milk and sugar with the spice mixture. Dip the panettone slices in it.

  3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, then brown the panettone slices for 30 seconds on each side.

  4. Dip the clementine wedges in the maple syrup and arrange them on the panettone. Pour the remaining maple syrup over it with the candied oranges.
