Roasted apples with port

Ingredients

  • 4 organic red apples
  • 6 tablespoons of red port
  • 25 g butter cut into 4 slices
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar
  • cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Butter a gratin dish. Rinse the apples and hollow them out in the middle without going all the way to the bottom.

  3. Add 1 slice of butter, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of port to each apple and sprinkle with cinnamon.

  4. Place the apples in the mold and put in the oven for 35 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle regularly with the remaining port, serve hot.
