Roasted apricots with cardamom and vanilla, cottage cheese

Ingredients

  • 6 apricots
  • 4 faisselles
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 40 g butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).

  2. Drain the faisselles. Wash the apricots and cut them in half.

  3. Split the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds. Open the cardamom pods.

  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter with the vanilla seeds and cardamom pods.

  5. Place the apricots in a baking dish. Cover them with spiced butter. Sprinkle them with brown sugar and bake for 15 minutes. Serve them warm, accompanied by cottage cheese.
