Supergrec is a new popular taverna that takes you on a joyful journey from Paris to Athens around generous mezzés, family recipes and products directly from Greece.
Since September 7, Supergrec has brought a joyful scent of Greece to the heart of the Trail. Located on rue Réaumur, this new restaurant imagined by Delphine and Symeon Kamsizoglou, already at the origin of Ypseli, favors generous, popular and no-fuss cuisine.
Here, no sophisticated decor or conceptual cuisine. We come to sit under the checkered tablecloths, share large dishes and eat mezzés, in a relaxed tavern atmosphere. All with products carefully sourced directly in Greece and a deliberately gentle addition.
Generous and joyful Greek cuisine
At Supergrec, plates are made to circulate. Tarama, marinated octopus, Lemnos feta, spicy sardines, zucchini fritters to dip in tzatziki set the tone from the first bites. Frank, Mediterranean and gourmet recipes that naturally call for sharing.
The menu also draws on family recipes passed down by Symeon’s mother. There we find the soutzoukakia, these dumplings simmered in a tomato sauce, the imam, where tender eggplant meets caramelized onions, but also the stuffed ones and the essential moussaka.
And to end on a sweet note, Greece continues to invite itself to the table with portokalopita, a deliciously fragrant orange cake, galaktoboureko, sheep’s milk cake, or even chocolatopita.

Paris-Athens, without leaving the Path
The spirit of Supergrec is as much in the plate as in the atmosphere. The walls, dressed with olive oils, honey, artisanal cold meats and oregano, almost give the impression of entering a Greek-style Ali Baba’s cave. And for good reason: the taverna is located within the grocery store.
The address boasts a simple idea: eat well, at low prices, and party. The products are selected directly from Greek producers, while the cuisine favors generosity rather than fancy dress.
A bias that echoes the journey of Symeon Kamsizoglou, already noted with Ypseli, and his search for Greek cuisine centered on the product and capable of touching through its simplicity.
Supergrec, the Greek address where you simply come to enjoy
With its plates to share, its slow-cooked dishes and its generous sweets, Supergrec especially makes you want to bring a few friends together around a table. We order several mezzés, we dip the zucchini fritters in the tzatziki, we share the feta and the octopus, then we attack the moussaka or the stuffed vegetables before finishing with a generous portion of portokalopita.
A sunny, accessible and uninhibited cuisine, exactly as Delphine and Symeon imagine: a place where we come to eat good products, laugh and take the time to be together.
