Our recommendations for successful agreements
We start with a goat’s cheese omelette, whose cheese will add just the right amount of salt and quite a bit of structure to the omelette, especially if you like it runny. As for wine, we opt for a white from the Loire to go well with the cheese, like a Sauvignon with a lot of tension.
DOMAINE BIET JEAN-MARC – SAUVIGNON BLANC 2016 – WHITE
LOIRE, Touraine
We continue with the “royal” omelette, the one with mushrooms. A simple and delicious recipe revealing the undergrowth notes of mushrooms. A dish to serve with a little salad and especially a glass of white wine like a Côte du Roussillon, slightly woody.
DOMAINE DE LA PARTRIX – FOR THOSE WHO DREAM OF WHITE DAY 2016 – WHITE
ROUSSILLON, Côtes du Roussillon
But the omelette is also delicious in a sweet version. For example, you can include grapes and gingerbread. A surprising and tasty blend, especially when accompanied by a soft white from Alsace, such as a Gewurztraminer which offers notes of spices and rose.
DOMAINE DE L’ENVOL – GEWURZTRAMINER 2016 – WHITE
