The egg king
The egg has many benefits. The first ? His price ! The cheapest protein, it appeals to both children and adults and is available in many ways. In calf, casserole, fried, boiled, omelette, poached, or salad versions, it is suitable for all preparations.
If the egg is perfectly eaten alone, we do not hesitate to serve it accompanied. This season, we decorate it with spring vegetables like radishes, green asparagus, small shoots or aromatic herbs. Of course, fresh cheeses like feta are also an easy and quick option to bring maximum flavor to this rather neutral-tasting ingredient.
Preparation time
When we talk about speed, we also have to think about the choice of recipes. A potato tortilla will take much longer to prepare than a scramble or a simple fried egg, even if it is customized!
For these recipes, we only chose dishes to prepare in 10 minutes then leave to cook for between 3 and 10 minutes maximum, because, remember, eggs are not eaten raw.
With 3 minutes of cooking time for the boiled egg, 6 minutes for the soft-boiled egg, and 9 minutes for the hard-boiled egg, everyone prepares it as they like, with a more or less runny yolk, and a white more or less taken.
