Seasonal fruits and vegetables
They provide vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, are very tasty and affordable… They are plants of course! In salads, gratins, pies, or desserts, February fruits and vegetables allow us to fight against the ills of winter, while enjoying ourselves.
As for vegetables, the stars of this month are mushrooms, cabbage, old vegetables, lentils, sweet potatoes, fennel, beets, cabbage, carrots, salads, leeks, potatoes, endives, onions, turnips and spinach.
Among fruits and vegetables, it is especially citrus fruits that are popular, as well as apples, pears, persimmon, kiwi, pineapple, pitaya and pomegranate. Enough to create colorful and flavorful recipes.
Easy and friendly recipes
Inflation and lack of time mean that cheap and easy winter recipes are our allies. We therefore offer you a low-cost and gourmet menu, perfect for the end of the month including a kohlrabi and apple salad, a spinach croque madame, and a crumble for dessert.
For evenings when we are in a hurry, we make bruschettas with the vegetables on hand, we search our cupboards for eggs and beans to quickly prepare a shakshuka, then we roast seasonal fruits in the oven. oven. Simple and efficient.
For the weekend, we have reserved menus perfect for entertaining or simply for brunch. Are friends coming over for dinner?
