Intense and generous, Les Garrigues 2025 is a cuvée that lives up to its name perfectly! Crunchy, complex, perfectly balanced and persistent, this wine is a little joy for lovers of powerful but elegant wines. A very pretty Côte du Rhône, with very good value for money, to be obtained quickly.

A blend of Grenache (50%), Carignan (20%), Syrah (15%), Counoise (10%) and Mourvèdre (5%), the Les Garrigues 2025 vintage is made from grapes located in the Garrigues, Carré, Canarde and Truffières terroirs.

The average age of the vines is 30 years. The Garrigues district is made up of red clay, limestone and rolled pebbles. The function of the rolled pebbles is to continuously redistribute the heat of the sun to the vines. This gives concentration and richness to the grapes, whose yield on these plots is on average 25 hl/ha. Harvested at maturity, the grapes are vinified naturally (without inputs, fining or filtration) then aged in concrete vats until bottling with sulphiting of 1.5 g/hl.

Garrigues’ color is dark red, brilliant with ruby reflections. On the nose, notes of jammy red fruits, black olive and licorice reveal the typicality of the Garrigues de Cairanne terroir. Generous, the palate is gourmand, the fruit expressive, highlighted by ample and silky tannins, with a long, deliciously fresh finish.

This Les Garrigues 2025 vintage is ideally enjoyed with all kinds of meats: lamb chops, pork ribs, pork tenderloin with spices, pluma, prime rib with thyme butter… Also serve it with a kofta tagine, a shoulder of lamb confit in broth, an osso buco with olives, a partridge pie… Everything suits it!
