Autumn menu: the easy recipe for Sunday October 27

Baking a cake on Sunday with family or friends is one of the little pleasures of the weekend. If large and beautiful cakes like the divine Paris-Brest or Saint-Honoré are the perfect desserts for a Sunday lunch menu with the family, not everyone necessarily has the time or the desire to launch into an arduous pastry exercise! Easy-to-prepare cakes are also an excellent option, such as cakes, pound cakes, tarts, and many others.

Among all the possible options, here is a dessert based on an emblematic autumn fruit: the pear. Juicy and fragrant, it lends itself wonderfully to pastry making. Conference, Comice, Passe-Crassane, the varieties are numerous in autumn-winter. We combine it with nuts and if we feel like it, we can even integrate dark chocolate chips into the dough or serve with a chocolate sauce.
