Ingredients
- 2 liters of milk
- 100g caster sugar
- 30 g of honey
- 140 g rinsed basmati rice
- 12 green cardamom pods
- 1 star anise
- 1 tablespoon(s) flaked almonds
- 1 tablespoon(s) crushed pistachios
Preparation

Crush the cardamom pods, collect the seeds and grind them.

In a saucepan, pour the milk, sugar and honey, mix, then bring to the boil. Add the rice, cardamom and star anise, mix again. Cook for 1 hour 30 minutes over very low heat, stirring occasionally.

When serving, sprinkle with flaked almonds and pistachios.
