Express shortcrust pastry

Ingredients

For 350 g of dough

  • 200 g t55 flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) of salt
  • 100g butter
  • 50 g of water

Preparation

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, pour the flour, salt and butter cut into pieces, then knead until the dough is sandy. Gradually add the water and knead until you obtain a ball. Cover and leave to cool for 20 minutes before use.

  2. When using the dough for a recipe, roll it out using a rolling pin on a floured work surface.
