During the holiday season, it’s simple, the plate is never empty! Oysters, smoked salmon, foie gras, capon, cheeses or even logs, indulgence is the order of the day and we’re not even talking about alcohol. To start this new year off right, we give our body a little break – not too long anyway, the galette des rois is coming! —, by opting for light recipes that give pride of place to vegetables, while respecting seasonal desires. Soups for example are an excellent idea. They allow you to hydrate well while warming up. Ideal when temperatures are negative or close to zero.
Another idea that we like: the quiche without dough. Mix all the ingredients in a dish and put it in the oven. A simple recipe that doesn’t lack character!
To follow, three seasonal recipes perfect for the start of the year.
