My shopping list for the week

This week, at the greengrocer, we put potatoes, red and yellow beets, mushrooms, kohlrabi, green meat radishes, treviso, kale, pumpkin, carrots, red cabbage, pointed cabbage, chard, into our basket. corn, broccoli, baby spinach, leeks, cauliflower, salsify, watercress, shallots, garlic and onions. For fruit, you will need pears, persimmons, clementines, apples, oranges, pomegranates, yellow kiwis, passion fruit, yellow and green lemons. We especially don’t forget the fresh herbs: parsley, parsley, bay leaf, thyme, rosemary.

A quick detour to the butcher to pick up some bacon, smoked brisket, chicken breasts, duck breasts, pork loin and belly. At the baker’s, take some white sandwich bread.

Then, head to the salty grocery store to get spices: Cayenne and Espelette pepper, cinnamon, paprika, nutmeg, cloves, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin. We continue by taking eggs, flour, almonds, dried cranberries, walnuts, raisins, cornstarch, polenta, sesame puree, miso paste, grain mustard, Worcestershire sauce, rice papers, lasagna pasta, buckwheat crozets. Let’s move on to the sweet grocery store with white and icing sugar, muscovado, almond powder, grated coconut, orange blossom, vanilla powder, honey and coffee.

Stop off at the fresh produce section to pick up unsalted and semi-salted butter, yogurt, whole milk, crème fraîche, mascarpone, fromage frais, raclette cheese, Beaufort, goat’s cheese, Cantal, tête de monk, cheddar, grated Gruyère, sheep cheese.

Finally, go to the wine merchant and add dark and blond beer as well as Cachaça.
