Halfway between the end of summer and the coming fall, this week highlights seasonal products.
This week, we’re still enjoying zucchini, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, nectarines, without forgetting the figs and plums which will always be present in autumn.
For the weekend, we pull out all the stops and prepare homemade cocktails, stunning zabaglione, original roast with duck breast, and Ibiza cheesecake. An entire program !

Your shopping list for the week
At the greengrocer, you slip spinach, carrot, peas, tomatoes, fennel, cucumber, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, cherry tomatoes, white, red and new onion, garlic, shallots and spring onion into your basket. Without forgetting the essential aromatic herbs: chives, parsley, thyme, coriander, verbena, basil, mint, and rosemary. And by the way, we take a small fresh ginger root.
Regarding fruit, this week you will need lemons, figs, bananas, plums, nectarines and finally raspberries.
At the butcher’s, we choose bacon, duck breasts, and roast pork.
Short stop at the fishmonger to pick up some sardines and cod.
As for dairy products, the list is long: ricotta, salted butter, milk, cottage cheese, heavy cream, mozzarella, feta, sheep’s yogurt, mascarpone, goat’s cheese and cream cheese.
For baking but not only, we take flour, oat flakes, dried fruits, dates, cashew nuts, pistachios, flaked almonds, white and muscovado sugar, maple syrup, thyme or flower honey , vanilla and orange blossom water. We finish with a bar of pastry chocolate.
When it comes to groceries, be careful not to forget anything: Udon noodles, semi-whole rice, candied lemon, black olives, coconut milk, tomato coulis, chickpeas, olive oil, white miso, wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic semolina, cumin, fennel seeds, green anise, oregano, rosemary and paprika.
We take a box of eggs and end up in the alcohol section with ouzo, marsala, prosecco for the Sunday cocktail.
