It’s back to school! The opportunity to get back into good habits, get back on track, create delicious and complete dishes while stocking up on vitamins. September is also the month with a large number of products available. We therefore take advantage of it to prepare jars and homemade preserves but also jams, which are so enjoyable when summer has gone to rest until next year.

My shopping list for the week
Side vegetables and herbsthe list is long: various zucchini, peppers, tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, eggplants, avocados, potatoes, rocket, spring onion, shallots, onion, garlic and ginger.
Basil, parsley, thyme, rosemary and coriander complete the list for aromatic herbs.
For the fruitswe note yellow and green lemons, pineapple, melon, plums, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and figs, necessary for weekend recipes.
In the department fishonly cod back and sardine fillets are available for purchase.
For the meat and cold cutsyou will need cooked and dried duck breast, cooked ham but also Parma ham, and a nice free-range chicken.
Regarding the dairy productswe take parmesan, butter, milk, liquid cream, burrata, ricotta, crème fraîche, fromage blanc and mascarpone.
Side grocery storeolive oil, vinegar, pine nuts, semolina, pesto, penne rigate, tomato puree, coconut milk, arborio rice, vegetable broth and mustard are needed.
Not forgetting the spices with curry, Espelette pepper, cinnamon, sweet and smoked paprika and fennel seeds.
In the department sweet groceries and pastrieswe stock up if necessary on dark baking chocolate, brown sugar, sugar, flour, almond powder, baking powder, honey, orange blossom water, currants, coffee, gelatin, and lemon curd.
As always, the eggs are essential, to be used as much in pastries as in dishes.
Side drinkswe choose apple juice and vodka for Thursday’s pasta recipe.
Finally, puff pastry and shortcrust pastry as well as brioche complete the list on the side bakery.
We finish with vanilla ice cream in the section frozen.
