Whether we’re already on vacation or not, in July, we take advantage of the good weather by savoring seasonal products to the fullest.
Tomatoes, eggplants, zucchini, melon, watermelon, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, don’t throw them away, in summer, fruits and vegetables are available in abundance so we take advantage of them without delay! For inspiration, don’t hesitate to take a look at the fruits and vegetables of July.
Choose local products, organic when possible, not cut or processed, to be sure of what is on your plate. We can never repeat it enough but prepared products and cooked dishes are often more expensive to buy than raw products, to cook yourself. Also, we are often disappointed by the texture, quantity or even the quality of the dishes. It is better to bet on homemade for a dish that lives up to our expectations, adapted to our tastes.
Seasonal dishes
In summer, what are we looking for? Freshness, found in salads, cold soups and gazpacho; the deliciousness of summery savoury tarts; the smokiness of products beautifully roasted on the barbecue; or the generosity of dishes to share around a friendly buffet with family or friends.
