Baked Lemon Chicken


  • 2 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup(s) olive oil
  • 2 organic lemons
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoon(s) of oregano
  • 4 medium sized potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • Salt and pepper from the mill


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Prepare the marinade. In a deep plate, pour the olive oil, the juice of a lemon, the pressed garlic, salt, pepper, oregano and mix.

  3. Place the chicken thighs one after the other in the marinade and massage them so that they are well soaked. Let it rest.

  4. Cut the potatoes into quarters, slice the onion, and place them in a baking dish.

  5. Add the marinated chicken thighs to thoroughly coat the potatoes with this preparation.

  6. Slice the second lemon into slices and place one slice on each chicken thigh, place the others directly in the dish.

  7. Pour a cup of water and place in the oven for about 1 hour, and switch to fan mode for the last 10 minutes. Enjoy hot.
