Beef meat balls

Ingredients

  • 600 g ground beef
  • 2 peeled garlic cloves
  • 1 peeled onion
  • 3 tablespoon(s) of tomato paste
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g of breadcrumbs
  • 50 g grated parmesan
  • 1 bunch of flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 l of tomato sauce
  • olive oil

Preparation

  1. Finely slice the onion and garlic. Brown them in a little olive oil with the tomato paste.

  2. In a salad bowl, mix the meat with the beaten egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan and chopped parsley. Add the onion and garlic.

  3. Form balls of approximately 4 cm in diameter. Brown them in a frying pan with a little oil. When they are golden, pour in the tomato sauce. Leave to stew for 15 minutes over medium heat before serving with pasta or rice.
