But why such a craze? You just have to watch the hundreds of videos on which consumers are seen opening in two the tablet, discovering the creamy pistachio heart, attractive! From then on, we exchange tips, a little less chocolate, no more tahini, not sweetening especially! Curious about this success, we tried to make our turn the Dubai Chocolate, but in a pie version, even more greedy, for a dinner with friends. Here is the recipe.
The recipe for the Dubai chocolate pie
Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
For 6 people
1 homemade shortcrust pastry
150 g of kadaif (there are in oriental grocery stores)
150 g of pistachio cream (to discover in Turkish grocery store)
1 tsp. Tahini
20 cl of liquid cream at 30% mg
1 chocolate tablet (black or praline, depending on your preferences)
Some crushed pistachios
Butter
Cook your shortcrust pastry at 180 ° C for 15 minutes so that it is golden brown.
Coarsely chop the kadaif. In a skillet, brown with butter for 5 minutes. It must be crunchy but not grilled.
Remove from the heat, add the pistachio cream and the Tahini, mix well to fully soak the kadaif.
In a saucepan, heat your cream. Remove from the heat and add your dark chocolate tablet into pieces, mixing until it is completely melted. If you use praline chocolate, only put ¾ of the tablet so as not to sweeten.
On the bottom of the pie, spread the pistachio/kadaif mixture. Pour the chocolate cream over it.
To decorate everything, disperse the pistachios as you wish. You can also add touches of pistachio cream.
Leave to take in the refrigerator at least 5 hours.
Verdict
The recipes that go around social networks are often very photogenic, and disappointing on the palate. But this “Dubai Chocolate Tart” is quite the opposite. From the first bite, we understand the craze. The chocolate made light and very fresh, the pistachio crunchy thanks to the kadaif … The mixture of the two is absolutely perfect, strangely not too sweet, we gladly serve it. A perfect dessert, which changes, to conclude a dinner with friends. Believe us, they will ask you for the recipe!
