Combining vitamins and colors, savory toast has two advantages: it comes in endless varieties and can be prepared in no time. Focus on fifteen ideas for seasonal sandwiches, which are all good.
Savory toast is ideal for a fresh and healthy snack. On toasted bread or not, spread a creamy base of cheese, avocado, or hummus, and garnish as desired with small fresh spring vegetables.
What ingredients for my spring savory toast?
When it comes to preparing a veggie toast with spring vegetables, anything goes! We naturally turn to seasonal products, a more ecological choice, but also consistent with our nutritional needs depending on the time of year. Indeed, spring vegetables are full of fiber and therefore facilitate digestion during these few months when many are returning to good eating habits in preparation for summer. The green vegetables that grow during this period are also very rich in water, and allow you to stay hydrated as soon as the sun's rays become a little more intense.
On our pieces of bread, we place some finely cut radishes, asparagus, avocado or even beets for toast full of freshness. The artichoke is also there, even if the latter arrives a little later on our shelves. To top it all off, what's more refreshing than a spoonful of chickpea hummus, or a serving of cream cheese? Ricotta goes perfectly with artichoke, like goat cheese, cream cheese, or even brie. Cover everything with a little fresh herbs and voila, your toast is ready to be enjoyed.
