Spicy, sweet and salty, with cream or cheese, chicken adapts to the winter season, always with delicacy.
Let’s face it, chicken is the wild meat in any situation. Chicken breasts cut into pieces, garnished with spices and seared for a quick weeknight dish. A whole chicken simply roasted with whole or sliced potatoes for a Sunday lunch with the family. Thighs or thighs worked as a tagine with dried fruits for a gourmet dish that delights all palates. Each piece has its own signature recipe. And that’s a good thing, we only have these signature recipes in stock!
The winter touch
To stick to seasonality, we adapt our recipes. If we leave the skewers and the barbecue for a while (but be careful you can always cook over a wood fire in your fireplace), in winter, we put the spotlight on homemade cordon bleu, spices, family dishes in sauce, but also the spicy flavors that warm you from the inside!
Another winter flavor: citrus. Bonus point, these allow us to stock up on vitamin C, you know that little vitamin boost that helps counter all the little ailments of winter by strengthening our immune system. Lemon, orange, grapefruit, if you like these flavors, then don’t hesitate to combine them with chicken, the latter supporting all seasonings.
Exotic fruits are also an option to remember in winter. Pineapple and mango, for example, will brighten up chicken curry perfectly. Products that can easily be found canned, already detailed and ready to use.
