Coconut Macaroons


  • 2 egg whites
  • 150g white powdered sugar
  • 200 g grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon(s) matza flour
  • vegetable oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C.

  2. Pour the egg whites into the bowl of a mixer. Mix using the whisk at medium speed for around 10 minutes while adding the sugar little by little. Then add the coconut and matza meal.

  3. Pour the mixture into a notched piping bag, then pipe it onto a baking tray covered with very lightly oiled parchment paper. Each cookie should be the size of a ping-pong ball. Bake for 45 minutes. The cookies should be lightly browned.
