Final stretch before fall!
We are taking advantage of this last week of summer to highlight the fruits and vegetables of September, the last of summer and the first of autumn. We are therefore focusing on gourmet recipes that are perfect for resisting the start of the school year: original salads, full of vitamins, dishes enhanced with fresh herbs and comforting desserts with seasonal fruits. Between eggplants, kale, or carrots, we stock up on vitamins while tomatoes, plums, mirabelles or apples bring us sweetness and freshness.

My shopping list for the week
This week, at the firstwe slip into his basket aubergines, tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes, beets, red peppers, new carrots, kale, Brussels sprouts, fennel, spring onions, cherry tomatoes, shallots, garlic and onions. Side fruitsyou will need pomegranates, apples, mirabelles, red plums, grapes, figs and yellow lemons. We especially do not forget the fresh herbs : mint, parsley, thyme, basil, coriander and dill.
A quick detour to the butcher to take minced meat, slices of bacon and filet mignon. At the bakertake some chopsticks.
Then, head to thesalty groceries to get spices: Espelette pepper, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, smoked paprika and green anise. We continue by taking nuts, linguine with squid ink, capers, pine nuts, pistachios, sesame seeds, breadcrumbs, honey mustard, pita bread, coco beans, canned tuna, preserved lemons, sesame paste, tortillas, sunflower seeds and almonds. Let’s move on to thesweet grocery store with honey, white sugar, vanilla extract, raisins, brown sugar, almond powder, dark chocolate, puffed rice, vanilla pods and agave syrup.
Last stop at fresh aisle to take fresh goat cheese, parmesan, mascarpone, crème fraîche, sheep’s milk yogurt and Greek yogurt, sweet butter, fresh cheese, comté, grated emmental, blue cheese and fresh cheese.
