When we return from the slopes, we often have our stomach in our heels. To enjoy the mountains while changing from the endless fondues and other raclettes, here are our gourmet recipe ideas for skiing.

Winter flavors on the menu

Who says mountains, says winter flavors, around comforting dishes that warm you up. Indeed, enjoying a ceviche after returning from the slopes does not seem to be the ideal seasonal dish! Whereas dishes garnished with cheese, roasted onions, tender leeks, or even soft potatoes seem more appropriate. Delights to enjoy in all kinds of pan-fried dishes, risottos, quiches, pies, gratin or even soups. Ideal for perking up after hitting one, two, ten slopes!

If we often think of savory dishes to warm up in the mountains, sweet treats should not be neglected. Semi-cooked with gourmet chocolate, regressive rice pudding, tempting French toast, richly garnished pancakes, crunchy waffles, everything is possible! But desserts to be served warm are strongly recommended to warm hearts and bodies. We can even upgrade our desserts with a chocolate sauce (dark, milk, white, dulcey, or even praline) or warm salted butter caramel, for even more indulgence. And to warm up, we indulge in drinks, alcoholic or not, flavored with cinnamon, rum, or cider-based.
